Kirkenes has a dramatic and exciting history. Its location between the superpowers Russia and Finland has always influenced history. World War II, in particular, left its mark. Tour starts in the bomb shelter “Andersgrotta” (5 min walk from Thon or Scandic hotel) with a 30 min guided tour and a 10 min film about Kirkenes during the Word War II. We continue the tour in our minivan through the town of Kirkenes and surroundings incl visit at two viewpoints, the border and the mining area. Beside the interesting history we also tell you about daily life, cross border relationships, climate and much more. Several stops on our way for photographing. Tour in 8 seats minibus, pick up at Andersgrotta and drop off at hotels included.
