Our company Pasvikturist AS – Booking Kirkenes was founded in 1990. We offer local excursions all year round and run a booking office and gift shop in the center of Kirkenes. We provide also Tourist office service including free maps and general information about the area. Our local staff can help you during your stay in Kirkenes.

Our office is located in Kirkenes, Norway, in the main shopping street. We give you advice for your stay in Kirkenes and you can book all available activities with us.
We are experts on local excursions. Our 4 employees speak Norwegian, English and German. In addition, 15 experienced guides with local knowledge work for us. A tour with Booking Kirkenes will give you the most personal experience you can get in our area.

Where do you find us?
Our shop and booking office is located in the main shopping street, Dr Wesselsgate 15B in Kirkenes. We sell a selection of local products in our gift shop like jewerly, glass art and more. You can book a local excursions and our staff now the area really well and can help you with your stay.
Monika Raab is both the owner and the soul of the company and has worked for Booking Kirkenes the last 15 years. She moved to Kirkenes in 2001 and has worked in the tourism branche the last 25 years. She is a Geographer with a master’s degree and is passionate about local place development. Monika is responsible for offers, sales and follow-up of groups or individual customers. She is also “out in the field” and is then a guide for our German guests, but also for Norwegian and English guests. Monika is originally German but has her roots in Kirkenes now. Odd-Johnny Andersen is an excellent local guide. He was born in Kirkenes and has lived here almost all his life. He can tell much more than what you will find in your guide books. In addition, he is a driver and an all-around man who can fix most things. You will most likely meet him when you book a trip with us.
Lise-Lotte Olsen is the finance manager in the company. She also runs our gift shop and you will most likely meet her behind the counter when you visit our shop. She also does other office work and is responsible for our Eco lighthouse certificate and safety.
Guides and drivers: in addition to our employees, we hire local guides and drivers if needed. In any case, all our employees have a long career in tourism and all have a strong local connection.
