After we have picked you up and introduced you to our safety instructions, will we first drive to Storskog, the official border crossing point between Russia and Norway. Then we will pass a wild and fascinating mountain scenery, drive along the small border river between Russia and Norway, where we can see watch towers and boundary posts. And finally will we reach the Barents Sea and a former settlement, called Grense Jakobselv with the King Oscar II’s stone chapel. This is a perfect spot to observe the midnight sun. We will enjoy a little coffee/tea break before we head back to Kirkenes.
