Things to Do by Yourself
Kirkenes offers a few interesting places you can visit during your free time, such as the Andersgrotta WWII bomb shelter and the Borderland Museum, as well as easy walks around the town center.
Snowshoes can be provided if you would like to explore the surrounding nature independently.
On clear nights, it is sometimes possible to see the Northern Lights directly from town, and a short walk outside the center can already offer good viewing conditions
