Hop on a snowmobile and ride across the frozen fjord to our traditional crab catching spots. If ice conditions are unsafe, we’ll head to the harbor to retrieve the crabs. Along the way, enjoy photo stops, Arctic views, and a cozy meal by the campfire in a lavvo tent.

  After a full safety briefing and getting suited up in warm gear, you’ll ride a snowmobile across Arctic terrain:
  • Two people per snowmobile (or book your own)
  • Several scenic stops for photos and views of the surrounding fjords and snowy landscapes
  • Depending on conditions, we’ll head to crab-catching spots on the ice or to the harbor if the ice isn’t stable

  Help retrieve the King Crab traps, then relax inside a traditional lavvo tent, where your fresh crab is prepared and served:
  • Steamed King Crab with garnish
  • Coffee and tea served by the campfire

  Your guide will make stops for photos along the way, so you can capture the best views of the Arctic wilderness.
• 🚐 Return Transfer to Kirkenes or Hurtigruten Pier
  After the meal, we’ll take you back to your hotel or Hurtigruten connection point, right on time.

• ✅ Driver’s license required to operate a snowmobile
• 🚫 Passengers without a license can still join as riders
• 👶 Minimum age: 4 years; snowmobile portion not suitable for children under 7
