This 5-hour tour takes you from the official Storskog border crossing, through wild mountain landscapes, along the boundary river, and finally to the stunning Barents Sea. Visit the historical Grense Jakobselv settlement, known for King Oscar II’s stone chapel, and enjoy the beauty of the midnight sun. A perfect blend of history, nature, and a peaceful moment by the sea!

What You Will Experience

• Storskog Border Crossing:Visit the official border point between Norway and Russia, a key historical site at the far north of Europe.
• Mountain Scenery & Border River:Drive through rugged mountain landscapes, passing by the small border river that separates Norway and Russia, with views of watch towers and boundary posts.
• Grense Jakobselv:Reach the Barents Sea and the historical settlement of Grense Jakobselv, home to the King Oscar II’s stone chapel—an iconic landmark for those exploring the Arctic.
• Midnight Sun:Depending on the time of year, enjoy an unforgettable opportunity to observe the midnight sun at one of the northernmost points in Europe.
• Coffee/Tea Break:A short, relaxing break to enjoy a warm drink and take in the surroundings before heading back to Kirkenes.

Pickup: Pickup will be arranged, and a safety briefing will be provided before we begin the tour.
