This 2-day package offers an immersive introduction to Pasvik Valley’s nature, history, and unique Arctic wilderness. Enjoy guided excursions along the border river to Russia, visit the National Park Visitor Centre, hike historic trails, and relax in comfortable guesthouse accommodation surrounded by pristine nature.

🔍 What You’ll Experience

Day 1 – Pasvik Sightseeing & National Park:
• Pick-up from your hotel, airport, or Hurtigruten/Havila pier (departure between 10:00 – 13:00, please provide arrival time)
• Guided bus tour through Pasvik Valley to the border area and Øvre Pasvik National Park Visitor Centre
• Learn about local flora, fauna, and the brown bear information center
• Photo stops along the Pasvik River with views toward Russia
• Overnight stay in cozy rooms at the National Park Center
• 18:00 – Local 2-course dinner

Day 2 – Hiking & Historic Farm:
• Breakfast and free morning for optional exploration or hiking
• 12:30 – Pick-up for a guided hike to the old Namdalen farm (approx. 3 km, easy terrain, 1 hour)
• Outdoor lunch (baguettes) during the hike
• Learn about local nature, history, and the first settlers
• Transfer back to Kirkenes for drop-off at airport or hotel (arrival approx. 17:00)

Comfortable Transport:
Travel in a minivan with your local guide for a personalized and relaxed experience.
