🧭 Tour Overview

Your journey begins in Kirkenes, where we drive 25 minutes south into the heart of the Pasvik Valley. On the way, we pass the Bjørnevatn iron ore mine and stop at a stunning viewpoint above Langfjorden, offering views of the dramatic Storfjellet rock formation.

From the trailhead, enjoy a gentle 3 km forest walk through peaceful taiga scenery. Your local guide will share stories about life in the north, the region’s wildlife, and how early settlers thrived in this remote area.

After about an hour, we arrive at the abandoned Namdalen farmhouse — a place frozen in time and full of atmosphere. We’ll take a break here, enjoy the stillness, and then follow the same route back.

This is a quiet, personal experience designed for small groups. The walk is not rushed — we move at your pace and take time to connect with nature.

Here’s what to expect on this easy-going Arctic hike:

From June 15 to September 30, when the trails are clear and the forest is full of life.

🕒 Departure Time:
The tour starts at 14:00 and finishes around 18:00, but we can adjust times on request.

🚐 Transport:
A comfortable 25-minute drive from Kirkenes takes us to the trailhead, with a scenic photo stop on the way.

🚶‍♂️ The Hike:
A 6 km round trip through flat, peaceful forest terrain. Perfect for anyone who enjoys light walking and nature.

💬 Languages:
Guiding available in English, German, French, or Norwegian.

👥 Group Size:
Small and personal – from 1 to 8 guests only.

💰 Price:
8,000 NOK for 1–4 persons. Each additional guest: +2,000 NOK.
