Explore Kirkenes on foot with a local guide — and in winter, glide like a true northerner using a traditional kick-sledge (spark)! This short but memorable 1-hour tour offers fascinating insights into Kirkenes’ local life, Arctic culture, and history.
During snowy months, we provide kick-sledges (2 people per sled), offering a fun and easy way to move around. Prefer to walk? No problem — the sledge is optional and can be decided on the spot.
What You Will Experience

Stroll through Kirkenes town center and learn about its unique position close to the Russian and Finnish borders, its WWII history, and the daily life in the Arctic north.
🛷 Try a Traditional Kick-Sledge (if snow allows)

- Starting Point: Booking Kirkenes office (main shopping street)
