Daytrip by snowmobile to the Barents Sea in Grense Jakobselv (KI06-bs)

Pick up at hotel. 45 min minibus transfer to our start point. Guided snowmobile tour over the mountains to Grense Jakobselv. Tour goes through a spectacular scenery over the oldest mountains in Norway, passes the valley of “Grense Jakobselv” and ends at the Barents Sea with great views. The valley forms the border to Russia and on our way we pass by Norwegian and Russian border guard towers / border station and the King Oscars II’s Chapel. Light lunch, tea / coffee. Transfer back to Kirkenes. Total driving distance by snowmobile is app. 80 km. NOTE: to drive a snowmobile, a valid driving license is required. Persons without a license can only participate as passengers. Long snowmobile tours are not suitable for children under 12 years.
