DAY 1
Arrival at Kirkenes
Transfer from airport to Hotel in Kirkenes, check in
14.00 – 17.00 Borderland museum visit, Kirkenes sightseeing and guidet tour at bomb shelter from 2. WW Andersgrotta (war history)
14.00 Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Borderland museum. 1 hour visit to the museum on your own
15.00 pick-up at the museum: Kirkenes sightseeing with a visit to Andersgrotta (shelter from the 2nd World War) with a local guide
Here you get a lot of history, local knowledge, and much more. This is a good start for the whole trip
16.30 visit to Andersgrotta with film about Kirkenes during the Second World War and guided tour
17.00 back at the hotel

20.00 – 00.00 The Barents Sea, the king Oscars II chapel and the valley of Grense Jakobselv in the midnight sun
Trip to Grense Jakobselv with a local guide
Photo stop at Storskog
Visit King Oscar’s 2 chapel, break on the beach with coffee served
Fantastic place to experience the midnight sun
00.00 back at the hotel

DAY 2
Breakfast
09.00 -15.00 Sightseeing to Pasvikdalen with local guide approx. 6 hours
Visit to the Visitor Centre Øvre Pasvik National parc with an exhibition and film about the valley and the parc, visit at brownbear info centre
Lunch at Svanhovd
Continue to Høyde 96 (viewpoint)
Visit to Strand museum
Back to Kirkenes with arrival at around 15.00

18.00 – 21.00 King crab safari by riverboat to the borderland with Barents Safari, incl dinner
(recommend taking this trip as an evening trip under the midnight sun!)

DAY 3
Breakfast
09.00 – 16.00 Day trip to Neiden and Bugøynes with lunch at the Bistro
Today we visit the village of King crabs, with its fantastic location by the Varangerfjord
En route stop in Neiden to visit the Sami museum
Tour with a guide in Bugøynes (fishing town, historical house, beautiful location)
Lunch at Bistoren (famous for fresh fish, seafood and king crab)
Around 16.00 back in Kirkenes

18.00 transfer to Snowhotel Kirkenes
3-course local dinner at the nice and cozy restaurant “Låven”
You can also visit the snowhotel and take pictures if you wish
After dinner bus transfer back to Thon

Transfer to the airport
