Our municipality fo Sør-Varanger is located between Finland in the west and Russia in the east. On this evening tour we drive to our large community to find the Northern Lights. On the way we tell interesting facts and myths about the Northern Lights. Since there is no guarantee of the Northern Lights, the tour is conducted by an experienced local guide who will also give you interesting facts about the border area between Finland and Russia. Along the way we stop in dark places where light pollution is minimal.  At these stops we try to see the northern lights. Often you can see a thousand stars, the moon and the incredibly beautiful landscape that surrounds us. Or just enjoy the silence.

Falls die Nordlichter nicht zu sehen sind, besuchen wir auf dieser Tour sowohl die finnische Grenze mit einem Fotostopp dort als auch die russische Grenze (Fotostopp). Unsere Gemeinde liegt zwischen diesen beiden Ländern und Sie werden viel über unser Grenzgebiet erfahren.
Die Tour hat eine persönliche Note und wird von einem ortskundigen Reiseleiter begleitet. Unterwegs gibt es mehrere Stopps, an denen Sie schöne Fotos machen können. Besuch der finnischen und russischen Grenze und umfassende Führung durch unser Grenzland, falls keine Nordlichter zu sehen sind
