Das Stadtrundfahrt gibt Ihnen die vollständige historische Sehenswürdigkeiten in Kirkenes and provides an interesting insight into the history, nature, climate and the modern Kirkenes. Photo stop at two viewpoints and at the Russian border. We visit the border and your guide will provide information on the various historical events which took place in this area. We continue to Bjørnevatn, a mining community which has experienced significant changes. We drive along the vast spoil bank tips all the way to Storfjellet where the views of Langfjord and to Pasvik valley are breath taking. Back in Kirkenes we visit the “Andersgrotta” (former bomb shelter) and get a film show (12 min) about Kirkenes during the 2. WW. We finish the tour in the local Borderland Museum (45 min), wo Sie die Ausstellung (2. Weltkrieg, Bergbau, samischer Künstler Savio), den Souvenirladen oder das Café besuchen können. Diese Tour ist eine Busrundfahrt mit einem ortskundigen Reiseleiter.
