Dog-sledge trip in Norwegian-Russian borderland including dinner and overnight stay in Pasvik (KI14A)

Exclusive husky tour in the beautiful Pasvik valley, where you drive your own sledge. Tour with max 8 guests so an early booking is highly recommended.

DAY 1: 17.00 pick up at hotel. We drive by car from Kirkenes to our base in Pasvik, app. 1 hour. Pasvikdalen is one of the last wilderness areas in Europe and we follow the Norwegian-Russian border to the husky kennel. Tour by dog sledges into the Siberian forest. You drive you own dog sledge (2 persons per sledge). Driving distance is app. 20 km (depends on weather and snow conditions). In good conditions, you will see the northern lights dance across the skies. We end the trip with a delicious meal served in a Sami lavvu.
Overnight stay in Pasvik valley at cosy Guesthouse in double rooms incl breakfast

DAY 2: Breakfast. 8.30 transfer back to Kirkenes/Kirkenes airport. Arrival time in Kirkenes/airport at 10.00

Please note:
Normal physical health is required, as our guests are involved in attaching/removing the harnesses and driving the dog sledges by themselves.
Guests with a really bad back or with problems walking is not recommended to join in on our tours since they are done not only on flat terrain, bumps on the track and balance is needed. You will be two persons per sled, one sitting in and one running the sled. We do not have one guide per sled – so if you for some reason do not want to run the sled at all, we need to know when the tour is booked
The menu is set on our tours and if you have special food preferances we need to know that already when you book.

Note: in April not as Northern light tour (the nights in April are too bright to see the Northern lights)
