Au cours de cette visite en bus, tous les points forts de Kirkenes vous seront présentés. Un voyage guidé en bus à travers Kirkenes, jusqu'à la frontière, le célèbre Snowhotel et une expérience sami formidable dans une tente lavvo. Une visite guidée sur Kirkenes, la façon de vivre ici, l'histoire locale et nos relations avec la Russie est également incluse. Visite avec une touche personnelle et un guide local.
Programme: First we take a Kirkenes sightseeing with stop at a viewpoint. We continue to the crossing point Storskog on the border between Norway and Russia. Your guide will provide information on the various historical events which took place in this area. Next stop is Kirkenes Snowhotel. Visit this cold world with its`beautiful ice sculptures. You can visit all the rooms, take pictures and order a hot beverage in our cafe. We also own a dog yard where you can cuddle with our dogs Total time at snowhotel app 1 hour. After this cool experience you will meet our Sami artist for 1 hour journey. We will start by meeting our 4 majestic reindeer. You will learn about reindeer and feed them from your hand with their favorite tundra food; lichen. The journey will continue into our reindeer pen, where we will walk up to our Lavvu – Sami tent.
Here by the campfire, you will hear stories about the Sami, both from folklore and from John Henriks own experiences, culminating with a performance of “Joik” – the unique Sami art of singing. We recommend to book a lunch (local food at the beautiful restaurant at Snowhotel).
